You are able to work in Scandinavian tourist attractions. You understand the language skills to be an essential part of you professional know-how. You can communicate orally and in written language in core customer situations within tourism and negotiate in good manner. You strengthen your tourism related vocabulary.

Customer service (hotel, restaurant, travel agency), negotiations/meetings, taking care of Scandinavian visitors, tasks and vocabulary in tourism, tourism vocabulary, correspondence, current Scandinavian phenomena in tourism, core tourist attractions, Scandinavian culture, intercultural Scandinavian communication.

Teaching methods

You are having 30 lectures in class, but also 51 hours of individual oral and written assignments and practice in pairs or in smaller groups. 3 credits counts for 81 hours of student work load.
We begin in week 36 (5 September) and end in week 46 at latest with a written exam
