Objective
• Construct and adapt care plans for older adults in the context of climate adaptation
• Monitore and evaluate climate-adaptive interventions
• Develop and implement training programs for HSC workers
Content
To ensure the health and well-being of older people, home and institutional environments need to adapt to the effects of climate change. This means taking action at both client and organizational level.
The main contents of the course are:
- developing a care plan adapted to climate change
- Monitoring and evaluation of adaptation measures
- Providing in-house training/ Mentoring colleagues
This course is suitable if you work with older people in the social and health care sector and want to update your client work and working environment to meet the challenges of climate change
