Objective

- You encounter the client/patient and their close ones as experts and agents of their own lives.
- You are able to utilize information about key mental health disorders and psychiatric illnesses.
- You are able to apply essential methods of mental health and substance abuse care.
- You are able to use early intervention methods.
- You are able to assess the needs and resources of the client/patient and support their commitment to treatment.
- You are able to plan and implement care and interventions that promote health and functional capacity.
- You are able to document in a structured and purposeful manner.
- You are able to work in multidisciplinary teams and networks.
- You are familiar with the client’s/patient’s care pathway and the key actors in the mental health and substance abuse care and service system.
