Objective

- Your professional identity as a nurse will develop
- You will be able to evaluate your own actions as part of your professional development
- You will understand the importance of ethical values in the overall care of patients
- You will be able to plan, implement, and evaluate your own patient care under supervision during your training
- You will be able to support patients in self-care and health-promoting choices
- You will be able to document your work in a structured manner in accordance with the nursing process
- You will be able to implement safe medication and fluid therapy under supervision
- You will be able to apply the principles of aseptic working in all your activities and practice infection control
- You will be able to apply the principles of patient safety in your own nursing work and in the use of medical equipment
- You will be able to work in cooperation with patients, their families, and representatives of different care environments in a way that promotes the overall care of the patient
- You will understand the importance of multidisciplinary teamwork in the overall care of the patient
- You will understand the tasks of your training unit as part of the patient care and service process.

Accomplishment methods

Clinical training in the training unit

Before starting the training, students must have completed the theoretical studies of the first and second semesters. Previous training must have been completed. The fourth semester course Perioperative Nursing must have been started. The course Surgery and Anesthesiology must have been started.
