Objective

The goal of the course is to form understanding of what it means to manage operations, and control operations and production in a manufacturing company. After completing the course, you know the concepts of production management, the basic techniques of control of the production system, materials and information flows. You understand the importance of effective production management for the company's lead time and production flow. You are able to plan and calculate the need for manufacturing resources, the need for material and the need for warehouses, optimising the production as a whole.
