A. Musical Competence

- is able to produce and perform spontaneous musical language to various
contexts
- has the musical knowledge, skills and emotional readiness required in
the main professional duties in one’s field
- is able to utilize musical expertise in various tasks, performances and
ensembles

B. Pedagogical Competence

- knows the principal teaching methods and materials in one’s main
subject and is able to develop and apply them and one’s own teachership
with researching work method
- is familiar with teaching and teacher’s work in social, philosophical and
psychological framework as well as with the basics of teacher’s
professional skills
- is able to operate in the changing cultural environment
- is able to take into account in one’s work the positive effect of music on
a person’s well-being, health and development
- is able to operate in diversified duties promoting well-being

C. Music Technology Competence

- is able to understand the possibilities and limitations of technology in
pedagogic activities and production process
