Assessment criteria

Pass, the student can: - Describe the physical and psychological readiness of children at different stages of development and recognize the importance of nutrition in growth and development. - Identify the areas of sustainable nutrition for athletic children and adolescents. - Identify food education methods and situations that can promote a child's desire to choose foods diversely for growth, sports-specific development, and recovery. - Utilize research-based information for their sport's practitioners and bring research findings into practice. Fail: The student does not pass assignments in the time and does not show the aquired knowledge

Objective

 The student knows the physical activity and nutrition recommendations for children and can utilize the contents of these recommendations in their coaching tasks.  The student can describe the physical and psychological capabilities of children and adolescents, as well as the importance of nutrition at different stages of growth and development.  The student recognizes the components of sustainable nutrition for athletic children and adolescents.  The student identifies interaction that can promote a child's willingness to choose a variety of foods for growth, sport-specific development, and recovery.
