Objective

You will learn alternative approaches to sustainability and sustainable development. You will know key concepts of the industrial ecology and regional and product-based approaches in solving the sustainability challenges. You are able to define system boundaries, actors, and material and energy flows. You will know key concepts and ISO 14040 and 14044 standards guiding the life cycle analyses. You can conduct life cycle analyses for the evaluation of the environmental impacts of a product or a service.

- Key concepts and principles of industrial ecology
- Key concepts and standards guiding the life cycle analyses
- LCA tutorial practices
- Conducting life cycle analyses in collaboration with working-life partners / RDI -projects
